The Saturday Sewing group is a friendly group of ladies who meet to share and help each other with their individual sewing projects. They meet on the 3rd Saturday of each month from 10am to 3pm.
Members have a wide range of expertise, including but not limited to -
- Dressmaking (primary focus)
- Quilting
- Textile Art
- Machine Embroidery
- Hand Embroidery
- Bag Making
The Saturday Sewing Group regularly runs mini workshops and demos. While not teaching sewing in detail, the members help each other with fitting, pattern modification/adjustment and general advice.
If you are considering joining the Saturday Sewing group, come along around lunch time to enjoy 'Show and Tell' and meet the group.
